What games are you playing during the quarantine?
-
@hooperre I LOVE Forza 4.
-
@IanDaemon I read about that. I was aware of the game and that it was the debut of Ray and Mighty, but never read enough about it to know that it was a trackball platformer. Was it any good? How about the music? The reason why most of us love the classic games is because of the awesome soundtracks.
Sega said that if we bought the Sega Ages collection that have the Puyo Puyo and Sonic games, then they would consider porting it over to modern consoles. lol
Sega pulling some Capcom tests.

Me too. I was worried they were moving in the wrong direction with Forza Horizons and kind of lost interest not realizing they were still making Forza Motorsport games. I wonder if they're as good. I read they lost the depth that Forza 4 had (assuming we're talking about the same one as I see there is a Horizon 4 now lol). Sorry if you were referring to Horizon and I sound like an old curmudgeon.
-
@hooperre I like both, honestly
-
I'm on Echo Night and Blood Omen : Legacy of Kain. About halfway through both. Enjoying both tremendously although Blood Omen is starting to feel a bit frustrating.
After those I'm looking to start on their sequels, or give Planescape : Torment another spin.

Not exactly a game..
some months ago I got a Wii off the Bay; now using EA Active 2 (with HR and movement sensors) to keep fit @home. -
-
Breath of Fire IV and I just picked up Gundam Battle Assault 2. Both underrated games I feel...still great though!
-
i'am playing Final Fantasy VI with Return Of The Dark Sorcerer mod. After that i will start Blade Runner.
-
Just got the new arcade stick up and running, so using it for stuff haven' played for yonks, but rediscovering Metal Slug for Neo Geo (a very rich friend had one), that and getting acquainted again with Guybrush Threepwood, on Scummvm, the Amiga version of course, which I think I may have still kicking around somewhere, unless the ex chucked it.

- Minecraft on the private server that a friend of mine and I are running since Beta 1.8 in 2011, still using the same world that got converted to newer versions on the way.
- Random classic arcade games from my custom collection of classic arcade games š
-
I'm also playing "random classic arcade games from my custom collection of classic arcade games" in MAME2003. I'm mostly playing cocktail cabinet games during my lunch break, because there's no way I'm getting that upright cabinet up the steps. I made a custom thin cocktail cabinet that I can move one person.
Mr. Do! and Spatter are the most played at the moment.

@theissdev Mr. Do!
-
@theissdev Before I brag I have to admit that I have the ROM set to easy in the dip switches.
-
Another game I recently installed on my laptop to finally try to beat is Infernal Runner:
The game was/is legendary for its extreme difficulty and the very explicit ways to die.
-
I've been having fun setting up RetroPie. I've played a bit of Super Mario Bros for the NES. - a lot of Super Mario Kart for the SNES and Space Invaders for the Atari 2600. And just today, I've set up Doom for the Game Boy Advance.
Honestly, whoever's idea it was to compile all possible game emulators into one package is a genius.
-
I'm playing through tie fighter (collectors CD ROM version) in dosbox. Its probably the best space flight sim game I have ever played. I even was able to map all of the vital keyboard controls to my Xbox 360 controller so I have a true console experience.
-
currently playing super metroid! never finished it before. quite far now, i think (wrecked ship part). i had to google how on earth you opened the pink doors :D
