Initial install - Xbox 360 Wireless Analog sticks
-
I put the 4.5.1 image onto an SD card, plugged in the USB receiver, and ran through the install.
During which, it detected 2 controllers, and I initially set the first one up. However it did not detect the analog sticks, and so I had to leave them undefined.
Is this correct / expected behaviour?
How are Playstation emulators (or others) handled, which use the analog stick(s)? And can I configure to have all controls configured?
-
just an idea because i made the same mistake in the beginning:
did you hold the analog sticks in the requested direction during setup?
I did so until "undefined" appeared - and that was the issue.
Just tap the stick in the direction for a short time. -

However, the right stick > left movement does not register. Should I simply presume it's broken?

I don't think so, try several times to register it, without pressing too hard on the joystick - just nudge it to the left.
