      Hello there,

I feel like a noob, I just downloaded retropie 4.6 on a PC, that is currently running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. It is not showing the raspi-cofig option and when I enter sudo raspi-config it says that command is not found. Additionally, my /boot/config.txt command isnt work either. I am trying to adjust my resolution because I wanted to connect my laptop to a arcade cabinet.

Hopefully I am just losing my mind, I am just confused because I have 4.6 installed on my raspberry pi and I am able to pull the commands just find.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Both options are not available to a PC installation

        • raspi-config is only installed in Raspbian on a Pi
        • there's no /boot/config.txt for a PC, it's a configuration file for the Raspbian boot loader, used only for the Pi systems.

You should be able to change your resolution with Ubuntu's specific utilities - https://help.ubuntu.com/stable/ubuntu-help/look-resolution.html.en.

Awesome, I kind of figured. Now only if I could figure out why my joystick usb controllers are not saving when I reboot :(
