      Hello,

Ive been waiting awhile for the support for retropie on rpi4, like we all have.

I've got a RP IMG with attractmode that ive put alot of time working on the artwork and things.

I dont suppose i could do a simple conversion? I prolly have to rebuild and just move over all the folders and stuff eh?

Looking for the most straightforward solution while gaining the extra horsepower from the rpi4

For example could i just recompile my img to run on rpi4 and then in retropie pull down the needed updates etc without having to go back and moves alot of files and folders around etc

      Thanks in advance

Your image will not boot on a pi4. The only raspbian OS with a kernel that supports the pi4 is 64-bit Buster. You have to start with a clean build. Back up everything in your SAMBA shares. Most of it will be useful, but you'll have to copy back things on a file-by-file as-needed basis.

@fullauto2009 An upgrade in place is not recommended, as it's not supported even by Raspbian. Note that attractmode is not compatible yet with the Pi4.
