@Birdrat how did you install RetroPie?
-
@Buzz I am running raspian and did watching a ETA prime video on youtube.
Using the commands sudo git clone--depth=1 https://github.com/Retropie/RetroPie-Setup
cd retroPie-Setup
sudo nano retropie_packages.sh
Add this line _platform=rp3
sudo ./retropie_setup.sh
-
@Birdrat that's not correct information I'm afraid. You should download an image from our site and use that.
-
@BuZz is that the same as running retropi on raspian or is that a boot direct into the retropi image?
I was hoping to have the option to run raspbian and retropi.
Can you please send the instructions link for correct image and install?
-
@Birdrat it's raspbian yes (without desktop but that can be installed). Image and a link to the instructions are on the download page. Or click docs on the forum.
-
@BuZz, It appeared to have worked after a uninstall of my previous set up and following your link for the manual install.
Cheers. Would you recommend any settings that I should change for a raspberry pi 4 for a better experience?
