Using C64 Ir-Vice how can I map spacebar to button?

Hello,

I'm using C64 Ir-Vice and it works nicely, but how can I map the spacebar and virtual keyboard to a couple of buttons on my Xbox controller?

I think some use RetroPad in Retroarch?

You always use a RetroPad in RetroArch when you have a controller. For lr-vice, you can toggle a virtual keyboard by pressing Select, but as far as I know there's no direct mapping for Space for the RetroPad - just for Enter (L2) and Esc (R2).
