Hi. I have a problem running some of Dreamcast games on the Retropie.
Since it is the first time I'm trying Dreamcast I wanted to see if what I struggle with is not a common problem.

      Here are the details...

      • Using Raspberry Pi 4 - 4GB model.
      • I had installed Retropie 4.6 on it last week.
      • I had installed the Reicast Emulator from Source.
      • I had copied the BIOS files to ... BIOS/DC folder
      • I had booted the +Start Reicast and I had successfully configured the controls using the interface and a mouse.
      • I was able to set up the memory cards and the Clock

In a result, some of the games I copied to the sd card run and others don't.

      I'm using .gdi images.
Shenmue I and II, Crazy Taxi, Soulcalibur, Marvel vs Streetfighter 1 and 2, Skies of Arcadia, Soul Reaver ... these work well.
Others like the Sonic games, Quake III, or Silver just throw me back in the Retropie Main Menu.

In some instances like Quake III I see a black screen and the emulator directly dumps me back to the Main Menu.
In contrast Sonic and Silver allow me to watch the Dream Case Logo intro or the entire introduction animations before it crashes.

I looked for a compatibility list, but at the moment it is still missing a ton of entries.
(btw if someone can add a NOTES PI 4 column to the spreadsheet I can input some of my observations in there)

I tried playing with some settings, but the interface does not allow me to do much.
Now I wonder if the clock could be a reason somehow.... have no idea.

      I'm open to suggestions.
      Thank you in advance.

Ok I understood what was happening.
There were two more optional Dreamcast emulators that I missed installing.

The games that were not booting in the Reicast run well on the other two. :)
