I recently got a raspberry pi 4 for my birthday and set it up everything is all fine except when I play anything for 5 to 10 minutes it stops displaying on my tv I know it still works because I can ssh into it and access the files from my windows network folder I also tried different os's and overclocking not overclocking this problem still happens did I get a lemon or am I doing something wrong?

I disabled it and tested it before posting sorry forgot to add that in my initial post

Edit: I figured it out sorry for troubling you it was as you said but for some reason, it didn't want to disable through normal means I had to get xscreensaver to disable it.

I'd advise you to use the official RetroPie image when installing RetroPie and not some 3rd party image.
