Problem with xbox hyperkin x91 controler

Hello, just got my retropie for raspberry pi4 and I tried to set up the controller but it was not detected.
I saw on the web that it can be set, but I'm a beginner and I have no knowledge how to edit files in a retropie.
Apparently I need to write the controller id to the console list, but i don't know how do to it. It would be great if someone could explain it to me step by step. -
Usually Xbox compatible controllers are handled by the
xpaddriver, but looking at https://github.com/paroj/xpad/pull/125, it doesn't seem that it would work without patching the driver. -

For now, you can try with another controller. Given the patch is pending for quite some time, I don't expect it to be added soon to the driver, so that the X91 gets support from
xpad. -
