      Hello.
Contacting with team agreed to open a topic for setup problem of retropie on newly installed Linux Mint 20. (I assume same issue for Ubuntu users). So the setup script stops with message: "unsupported OS" the editing of system.sh did not help.
Please help me how to install retropie to the above mentioned systems. Thanks a lot.

RetroPie installs fine on Ubuntu 20.04 - what release of Linux Mint are you using specifically ?

I'll check this, but you said you got an error building in the email you sent. Please can you post a log of that. Thanks.

It should recognise LinuxMint now - so you can update and try and if you have a build issue, report back with a log.

It broke because Linux Mint changed their distributor id from LinuxMint to Linuxmint. Your screenshot you sent via email reported an error in sdl2 - but our custom sdl2 should not be built by default on Ubuntu/LinuxMint unless you have own_sdl = "1" in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retropie.cfg

@csocsoi - Thinking of installing RetroPie on Mint 20 myself today, any issues to report? Reasons to use older Mint rev?

                    Thanks
