      I have a Raspberry Pi 3B+ with Retropie installed on a 32gb SD Card, with an official RS AC adapter.
      I use it on an old TV via HDMI.

      I use it on a daily basis to play some emulators and Steam (with SteamLink).

      A few days ago, the HDMI signal stopped randomly mid-game. First I thought it was something with my USB wired controllers (maybe loosing voltage, idk, although the 'thunder' icon didn't shown), then I've started using bluetooth controllers.
      Today, the signal stopped every time I enter an emulator.
      The Raspberry Pi 3B+ it's still on, because the led is lit, and I still can access it through Filezilla.

      As I've updated Retropie last week, I've took another SD card (with my backup from the last version), same issue.
      Changed the HDMI cable, same issue.
      Changed HDMI port on TV, same issue.

      Then, I've changes some parameters on boot/config.txt:
      config_hdmi_boost=4 (after it didn't soled my problem, 5)
      hdmi_safe=1
      I still din't test it with other parameters, though.

      But, same issue.

      Maybe my RPI3B+ board is broken?

      What do you guys think it can be?

        Could be a a little fracture in your cable. I had the same with my dvi-hdmi cable last week. Try another cable.

          i had something similar happen with my roku / TV .... LG pushed out some sortof update that didnt work well with roku.. i had to connect to another TV memorize the key strokes to set the resolution to a lower resolution. It worked fine after that ... dont know if i ever increased the resolution again.

          Possibly adjust resolution lower and see if that resolves the problem.
