When opening some games, it happens to cut a piece of the screen.
It seems to me to be something related to notifications, has anyone been there?

I am using the updated 4.6 version.

I think has been reported before in the forums, it's indeed related to the new GFX style widgets. There's also an upstream (RetroArch) issue opened, but I don't think it's been marked as solved.

Retroarch has been updated to 1.89 and 1.90, but it seems still unsupported by Retropie.
I tried to update with the latest 4.6.7 script, but RA keeps installing version 1.88.
So even if this issue has been fixed with the latest update i cannot test it.

The quick solution that works for me: just press start+select to get the "do you really want to quit?"-message on the screen.
With that the rest of the screen pops up on my (CRT-)Display and i can play with full visuals :)

@sirhenrythe5th I am also using version 1.88 and the bug still persists. In a random way I reset the game via the controller and go ...

I've seen this on one of the megadrive/genesis emulators. The reports indicate it is related to the widgets that appear in the lower left corner during startup.

I've been able to get going by pressing hotkey + B to simply reset the game. Always seems to work the after that.
