Raspberry Pi not powering up
-
Hi -
I got my Retroflag NESPi Case in the mail Hooked everything up like the documentation shows. The red light on the front comes on when plug in the power but the power light on the raspberry pi never lights up.Not sure what to do - Any help would be appreciated.
-
@studysession Might be a defective case - is Pi working outside the NesPi case, powered directly ?
-
Yes it works outside of the case. Have the controllers and games configured and working without the case just not in the case.
-
I seem to remember they have an internal switch that affected the power up/shutdown, but can't find something like a manual on their site. Does it have any instructions on how to activate and configure the shutdown/reset button ?
-
As for the switch I tried both ways.
It should send power to the Pi but it is not.
Maybe it is defect. -
@studysession double check your GPIO connection. Also try switching to unsafe shutdown (switch in the case PCB) if you have that and see if you have it to power on.
