Alter speed of specific game (Arkanoid)

Brand new to RetroPie. So far loving it. I have tried out several games with no problems, however my Arkanoid (on MAME) seems to run fast. Is there a way I can alter the speed of this specific game (ideally with the setting retained).

Please give details of your config - and which emulator you are using etc.

Is it really running too fast or is the analog sensitifity just set too high, press tab to check the controls.
