retropie wifi problems

gpi case wifi problems

Moderators remove posts from feeds for a variety of reasons, including keeping communities safe, civil, and true to their purpose.i just bought a retroflag gpi case and a raspberry pie zero W I hooked everything up installed the screen patch but no mater what i try it will not connect to my 2.4 wifi i tryed the code:
country=US
ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/
wpa_supplicantGROUP=netdev
update_config=1
network={
ssid=" my ssid"
psk="password"
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
priority=1
}
after checking to make shure it was a conf file ext and double and triple checking my ssid and password and failed then i decided to go into my router and open the network with no password at all it still says "unable to connect to network'
im stuck please help

You already posted a topic with your problem - there's no need to open another one. Topics merged.
What version of RetroPie are you using and how did you install it - see the details asked in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
Are you sure you're formatting correctly the file ? The way you posted its contents, it doesn't look like it. Try
country=US ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/wpa_supplicant GROUP=netdev update_config=1 network={ ssid=" my ssid" psk="password" }

it should be the latest version because i downloaded it yesterday i used windows disk imager the file don't matter anymore because my wifi is now open

retropie-buster-4.6-rpi1_zero is the file i used
