    MAME4ALL Not working in rpi zero image

      Hello desperate newbie, i've been trying for days, and i can't make it work mame4all in raspberry zero, i just get a black screen, i'm using the Romset right, i know that I tried another image of Retropie, which is not from the site, and if they worked for me the roms, i want to use the clean image from here, can somebody help me ?

        @superomegabeto What version of RetroPie are you using ? Please add more info, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

          Sorry, the version is 4.6 for rpi zero, the emulator is mame4all-pi.

            I remember there was an issue with mame4all on the 4.6, but I don't remember if it was related to using a non-standard audio output (i.e. non HDMI) or it happened in all configurations. Can you try using lr-mame2000 instead ? The romset should be compatible.

              The emulation with lr-mame 2000 it is not very good, i was hoping i could use mame4all-pi :(

                @superomegabeto It's the exact same emulator but it might be slower. If the game loads in mame2000 then it should work in mame4all.

                  The emulator mame4all-pi is the most efficient for rpi zero, it's a shame that I can't use it in 4.6 version of retropie.

                  lr mame 2000, has serious sound failure in old roms how TMNT y Double Dragon, i will not spoil my memories with that poor emulation, i think I will buy a version more recent of raspberry, i thought the zero gave for more, i am somewhat disappointed...

                      Solucionado !! Instalé la versión: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/releases/download/4.5/retropie-4.5-rpi1_zero.img.gz

                      Y mame4all-pi corre genial!! XD

                        @superomegabeto , where you able to make it work with a newer version?
                        It does not work with 4.7.1.
