      Hi all
      I have a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+
Most of the RetroPie themes have issues on the front page where when browsing to various consoles the console icon disappears or goes black or blank. It all works fine, games run well and I can do everything but on most themes (like sodacan) it has graphical issues.
I use the Bluray theme currently as that has no graphical issues.
I have tried so many things, i have updated everything i can think of to the latest version.
I cannot find anything on any forums that describe this exact issue.
rebuilding the pi from scratch is not an option as I have spent hours and hours setting it all up.
      Any help is appreciated.

Please add more info about your system, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

This kind of blank/missing image happens when the theme is resource heavy - lots of images, high-res backgrounds/logos. You may try increasing your VRAM limit in EmulationStation's settings (make sure you don't go over Pi's configured GPU memory) or running in a lower resolution (720p), but some themes are just too much for the Pi.

Are there average recommended ranges to suggest?

          (e.g. VRAM 3B+ 10000-15000, 4B+ 20000-25000)
I made all those numbers up.

          Just curious.

@mitu Its all sorted. I watched a video which suggested I up the vram from 80 to 180.
The roms their selves do not use hardly any vram so they will not be affected.
All themes work perfectly now. Rom performance has not been affected.
            All good.

As this question has not really been answered yet: for the people who bought a 4/8GB Pi4: as far as this amount will never be useful for the emulators, would it be helpful to increase the VRAM to 2/4GB?
