Hi, I have been looking at some older posts where others have had the same issue but cant find a way to get my save (or state) files to work on the n64 emulator. My default emulator is set to lr-mupen64plus (as this seems to play the roms with the best settings). My issue is that when I save a game and exit the emulator, the next time I load the game the save doesn't load. If I try to save using a state file, it saves the state and will reload it while im still in the current session, though if I close the emulator and try to load the state next time I enter the game nothing happens.

Im using a raspberry pi 4b
Ive updated the emulator from source and ran sudo apt update and sudo apt upgrade to get my files to the lastest ones.

I did see a fix relating to setting the audio to "0" but when I have checked the config file, this has already been done.

Can anyone suggest what I can do to fix the issue as im sure people must be saving N64 games using retropie?
