Pi Model or other hardware: Pi 3B+
      Power Supply used: 2.5a Canakit
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.6
Built From: pre made image from RetroPie website
      USB Devices connected: N/A
Controller used: Arcade USB encoder stick

I have a bartop cabinet with four buttons and I want the four buttons to behave differently in Emulationstation but have them be normal in Retroarch. Essentially I want two of the buttons to be mapped as triggers in emulationstation to be able to scroll through the list of games but be mapped regularly for Retroarch. I know there was a thread for this that showed how to do exactly what I'm asking but I forgot to bookmark it and now can't find it. :(

      Any pointers? Thank you! :)

I think you can change emulationstation controls if you edit the es_input.cfg file.

The path for this file is here : /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation .

My English isn't at a good level.
