      Hi Everyone!
I'm trying to earn some in-game points in Marvel vs Capcom 2 by running in training mode overnight. (I haven't figured out how to load others' vmi saves)

This is using ES, Redream, RPi4.
Starting ES from boot cli. (not desktop)

But now two nights in a row when I wake up and check the game has been shut down and Iv'e been returned the the 'system' screen, ie in this case the 'Recently Played' screen.

Usually the screen saver just dims the screen a bit so I have never seen this behaviour happening in front of me.

      Does anyone know what's happening?

      Cheers
      Fred

It looks like for some reason the emulator(or something else?) crash. If you can post logs from /dev/shm/runcommand.log . Use pastebin.

My English isn't at a good level.

          Hmm...that folder is completely empty.
Does it get cleared on restart? As I have rebooted several times since the issue above.

Yes, /dev/shm is a RAM backed folder, restarting would clear it. The file is present after the game is run and it's also overwritten each time a game is launched, so if you want to get the actual error, you need to get the file immediately after the crashed game stops.
