If I try to run any MSX rom (even MSX Turbo R specific roms) with the blueMSX emulator by forcing the core with the bluemsx_msxtype = "MSXturboR" option in the retroarch-core-options.cfg file, the system crashes . Let's say it crashes if I use any MSX roms if I force the core with MSX Turbo R.

UPDATE: I installed the package from source (retropie 4.6.9) but the problem still exists

I solved the problem. I had a BIOS file in the Shared Roms folder with a lower case extension instead of UPPER CASE

I have the same problem and shift's solution did not work for me.

Please just tell me which BIOS files to use and where to place them for MSX-Turbo R to work when lr-Bluemsx is set to that machine. Also, what must be capitalized and what must not be capitalized. Currently i have the msx and msx 2 bios files in the generic bios folder, not in any subfolder. Also have 4.7.1 still if that matters.
