      @Zering

      I managed to get SD Snatcher working with SCC+ sound within lr_bluemsx with the following config.ini (check the path).

        @mth75

        Nice find !

        I checked the picture and the file and it basically comes down to adding only the SCCPLUS rom line beneath the MSX2 rom line :

        0 0 0 4 66 "Machines/Shared Roms/MSX2.rom" ""
        2 0 2 4 53 "Machines/Shared Roms/SCCPLUS.ROM" ""

        I will test it later.

          @Folly Yes, that is correct. (Ja, dat is juist!)and adding the SSCPLUS.rom (dummy file) to the mentioned folder.

            I read somewhere that the same can be done with SCC.ROM.
            ( ga ik ook even proberen, als it tijd heb ;-) )

            For those who want to try it too, I extracted the open source dummy rom files from paraMSX and RuMSX.
            I placed them over here :

              @Folly I'm curious how you value the SCC+ emulation ... I think it's quite good, but not 100% accurate ... Yes, SCC emulation should also be possible:

              0 0 2 4 55 "Machines/Shared Roms/SCC.rom" "" and it seems to work.

                I got it working too.
                I like the sound, hard to tell if it's completely correct.
                If I remember correctly, I think "openmsx" sounds a bit different but I will have to try it again.

                Yes, SCC emulation should also be possible:

                0 0 2 4 55 "Machines/Shared Roms/SCC.rom" "" and it seems to work.

                Cool, this probably brings more possibilities on unofficial/patched/improved software on disk that use SCC.
                Your line, with SCC.ROM, didn't work for me.
                I found this one :
                2 0 2 4 3 "Machines/Shared Roms/SCC.ROM" ""
                on this gitub link.
                Using this SCC line with the SD Snatcher with patch SD092MxE.IPS worked for me.

                Btw.
                I am also curious if I can use these dummy roms with MAME.
                (edit : just tested and it didn't work)

                  I found that MAME can also work, but it will only recognise as SCC.
                  Info can be found here :
                  https://forums.bannister.org/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=99199&page=all

                  The options -cart1 sdsnatch, -cart2 sdsnatch,-cart1 snatcher or -cart2 snatcher can be used in these situations.
                  Only for SD Snatcher with patch SD092MxE.IPS it will work.
                  The sdsnatch scc and snatcher scc will be recognised as regular SCC not SCC+.

                  The SCC+ option is probably not implemented in MAME.
                  More research has to be done on this.

                      @mth75

                      Thanks,

                      I will probably implement this solution into my add-mamedev-systems.sh for hbf700p and nms8250.
                      (edit : added in version 248.01)

                      I found some older konami's with SCC/SCC+ support in some Konami Game Collection disks.
                      They can also be found in rom format.
                      These do work nicely in lr-bluemsx ! ;-)

                        Again, no succes with bluemsx and SCC

                        Hello, I was able to get SCC sound working in lr-bluemsx by placing SCC.ROM from removed in /BIOS/Machines/Shared Roms and adding this line

                        2 0 2 4 3 "Machines/Shared Roms/SCC.ROM" ""

                        beneath the line with "MSX2PMUS.rom" in the config.ini file in /BIOS/Machines/MSX2+.

                        I am using the English patched version of the ROM from Project Melancholia.

                        I got set on the path to the solution by this video on YouTube.

                          @fryguy1 Please don't post links to ROMs or ROM sites.
                          Not sure why this reply was needed, since @Folly already provided a solution in one of their earlier posts, but I guess the more the merrier.
