I'm running RetroPie on Ubuntu on an older PC. I've been struggling with trackball issues under MAMEXXXX cores. If anybody has a fix for this, please let me know! :) After some basic testing (i.e mouse works correctly! Yay!!!), I've given up and would like to fully setup ADVMAME 3.9.

I'm looking for some help with the .rc file... Specifically, I'd like to do the following:

      1. 1920x1080 LCD video mode
      2. accurate aspect ratio (missle.zip is the initial target rom)
      3. 'crt-like' scan lines (under RetroArch cores, I typically use shader CRT-HYLLIAN)
      4. bezel artwork at the perimeter of the display

Next up will be Centipede and/or Millipede...

I'm new to ADVMAME and have done some reading but I was hoping that others might have basic .rc advice to share. I found a great post on this site about vector game setups but I was specifically looking for non-vector insights!

      Thanx.

@Kartman Hello, I cannot find a good scanline reproduction with ADVMame. It does not use shaders, only overlays. Tried to make a few scanline overlays and had no luck. There are video options for scanlines, but I could not find anything that looked as good as shaders do.
