Problem with JoJo on Raspberry Pi 4B 2gb
-
Hey yall, im trying to run JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Heritage for the future and JoJo's Venture on the raspberry pi 4 2gb model with the newest Retropie image, but they dont work. I am new to the whole retropie and linux stuff. I tried using all FBA and MAME emulators, only the experimental lib-mame works but only at the 10th of the actual speed. Overclocking obviously did not help this, and mame itself runs slow, too, not just the game. I'm trying for over 3 weeks now to get these games working on there but no success.
I'm building a JoJo-style arcade cabinet and if Jojo doesnt run on there it kinda defeats the purpose.
Here is a list of all emulators and what happens when i try starting either game with it:
lr-fbneo, lr-fbneo-neocd, lr-fbalpha2012 (takes me back to the rom menu instead of starting the game)
lr-mame2000, lr-mame2003, lr-mame2003-plus, mame (takes me back to the rom menu instead of starting the game)
lr-mame2010 (i can play cps3 games on android with this at full speed, but crashes on the pi, but both are linux, arent they? It should've work i thought.)
lr-mame2015, lr-mame2016 (freezes the whole system, not responding to anything)
lr-mame (runs, but only at the 10th of the actual speed)
Please help me, this is so frustrating.

@jojoon3ds cps3 games I think? fbneo will support them and probably be the best speed, but you need the right romset, as per https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Arcade/

@dankcushions I was using jojoban the whole time, seems like its untested there, no wonder. Im gonna look for the other roms and report back if any of them work

@dankcushions thank you so much for giving me this link... i finally found compatible roms. I am so thankful like, omg, i can finally continue my project. You made my week!
