Micro SD Card recommendation
-
I am in the UK and looking to buy a 32gb Micro SD card for the Pi 400.
Can anyone recommend one? I have read it needs to be a certain type and the right format for it to work, and known me I'll get one that is not compatitble.
Anyone have a link to one that will definitely work?
Thanks all

@chris3535 "Sandisk Ultra" is cheap and reliable, and buying a new one from Amazon has been safe and easy for me.
Some people complain about getting fakes from other retailers - I expect that is mainly for the expensive large capacity cards and you just want 32GB. Pay £10 from Amazon for an A1 or A2 class card and you'll be good.
I've also tried Sandisk Extreme, Sandisk Endurance, and PNY brands with the same spec (A1 or A2 class). In the Pi I don't notice any difference at all - they are all fast enough for RetroPie.
I haven't personally used a Samsung, but they are also often recommended.
Old vs new: I have a very old Sandisk Ultra and one from this year (2020). The newer one performs faster - stick to new.

I've never had a problem with SanDisk cards I have used.
Speed class is not critical but higher (faster) will have some benefit.
All microSD cards should be compatible since they will support common file system formats. Typically you will format it while writing the image to it that you plan to use. -
Thank you all for your help
Ordered a sandisk of amazon after reading all your advice.
Thanks again
