lr-pcsx-rearmed controller not working
-
Hi there!
Yesterday i updated lr-pcsx-rearmed via retropie setup to the latest binary. Since then the emulator does no longer react to any button press. I can activate retroarch menu and navigate there with my joypad but inside the emulation there is no controller "plugged in". Some games show a "please insert controller" message.
This seems only to happen in pcsx and all other emulation cores i tested work fine.
Before this update all worked fine. :-/
I am using a Pi 3B+ still running stretch but with all retropie related software updated to current version. Controller is a "iBuffalo" SNES style controller and as i said it works in all other retroarch cores. I know there is L2 and R2 missing on this controller but i don't think thats the point.
Can someone help mit with this issue?

Did you also update RetroArch ? What is Pad1 Type set in the Core options ?
-
There was no update available for retroarch and controller type is set to "default"
I think i fixed the problem by first enabling "Show other input settings" and then switching "Multitap 1" and "Multitap 2" from "Auto" to "Off".
Is this Multitap thing a new feature? Since i never touched this setting (it was hidden) and the issue was not there before updating.

Did you update from binary the
lr-pcsx-rearmed
package ? That is not the most recent version (upstream). It could be that something was fixed and multitap has started working, whereas before that option was ignored. -
@mitu i installed the latest precompiled binary from retropie setup script. but at least everything works now again and i do not even know what to do with this multitap thing.. not a funktion that i am missing now :)
