ubuntu based retropie dual screen - marquee on 2nd screen
Greetings.
I've been looking around and can't seem to find much outside some rPi solutions.
Is it possible to get a marquee to display on a secondary monitor on an Ubuntu 20.04 based retroipie install?
I'm fine with a ton on configs and mucking about, but just want to know if it is even possible under an x86/64 Ubuntu retropie setup.
This would all have to be done via a USB to HDMI adapter/converter (no secondary HDMI out on the PC - but I am not asking about the Linux side of this... just the retropie/ES side).
But before I even go down the hardware route, I would love to know if this is possible to accomplish, or is it just a pipe-dream now?
Any thoughts or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!!!

What's your use case ? When do you want to display the marquee - gameplay/game browsing ?
