Pi 4 Redream When I start A Game Elgato Disconnects and Reconnects

I have in the redream menu the video set to 1280 x 720 and 4:3. This is the only emulator that when i start a game the elgato seems lose signal for 2 seconds and then it seems to reconnect. This causes buffering when I stream live on youtube and I end up losing the stream due to the disconnect. Is there a setting I need to change on the Pi anywhere to solve this frustrating issue please help
