I gave my brother my retropie build for xmas. At some point I think the services for bluetooth stopped or my raspberry pi 4 bluetooth isn't working. I try searching for a device (ps4 controller specifically) and I get nothing. If anyone knows any commands I could run to make the services start and always start let me know if possible. Or if the bluetooth service is somewhere in the retropie setup. Thank you and merry christmas!

You can check if the onboard bluetooth is enabled with

        systemctl status bluetooth
        systemctl status hciuart
        rfkill list all
