Unable to swap joytsticks since I've updated
-
Hi there!
I've built myself an arcade last summer, it's running an RPI4 with Retropie and two sets of those run-of-the-mill joysticks/buttons kits you can get off Amazon and the like.
Everything is working just swimmingly and I love the thing. I've set the left joystick to an 8 way gate that I use for most games, and the right joystick is set to a 4-way gate to play the very oldschool stuff like Pacman and Burgertime and the like. I spend hours on end configure each. and. every. game on the machine this way.
A week or two ago I decided to run a general update on pretty much everything that was installed, just keep the machine up to date and stuff.
Anyways.. today I fired up Burger Time for a quick game, but didn't feel like scooting over to the right joystick so I decided to just change the controls back to the left joystick.
And I can't seem to be able to. It used to be that I could go into the settings (select+x) and then controls, and just decide which joystick did what. For some reason, since the update, I see absolutely no way to do that anymore. Am I being stupid and missing something super obvious here? Did something change in retroarch?
I googled the crap out of my problem, and I got nothing. :/
Ideas?
Thanks~!

Holy crap. Never mind... I.... yeah... that .... that was stupid. It's been a while since I configured the machine and I totally forgot that it wasn't retroarch's settings but MAME's settings I had to change.
I'll go hide under a rock now. Kthx
