reworked Game Gear for use... the colors of Green and Blue were off in many of the .svg files
Also made it grey and black for light and dark without outlines.
Same thing for Game Gear, I used your second logo for my theme. Thanks a lot!!

We should add the ti99_4a too.
I could have changed the script so
ti99_4a
was installing underti99
but I think that will be somewhat confusing as ti99sim uses other rom formats.The ti99 is already in the theme, we can use that.
Perhaps we can add a minor change so we know thatti99_4a
is for mame/lr-mess.What do you think, good idea ?
-
@folly I agree. I modified the already existing Ti99/4a logo and added in the Texas Instruments logo as well. I felt it better suited the look. So now I have a separate ti99/4a theme in my build so that it's not the same as the Ti99Sim emulator. It's white lettering on a transparent background, so it's a little hard to see here... also, same with a black background

@folly
I'll do monday -

@folly
if you have a suggestion for the mascot, I'm interested 😄. -
@dteam Probably Munchman. Seems to be the most recognizable.
-
I liked Popeye and it's a synonym for the first powerful 16 bit CPU (TMS9900) :

Perhaps we can use that one. -

Munchman
This one?
-
@dteam yes. That's it. Parsec, Munchman and Alpine were key games with some sort of main "character" as the focal point. Parsec being the ship.
Not sure Popeye would be good because it's more of a Parker Brothers or old cartoon character and not really related to specifically the TI computer line.

@folly Spounds good... I would suggest adding in some of the trail behind him as well because the game is opposite of Pac-Man, you don't eat dots, you lay a trail behind you.
Maybe just fade it out to black/transparent?

The Ti-99/4A theme is on GitHub now

@dteam looks great!

Nice job;-)

Last one...
Tandy CoCo3. I used the Tandy logo to sperate the two machines. We didnt really do a CoCo1, so I didn't bother. The 2 and 3 are plenty to cover all bases of this beloved machine.
This shows fine in black or white background.
Here is the actual CoCo3 I used from a History of the Tandy website. It's the only one I could find that was an Actual CoCo3 and matched the badge. I try to do that with all my theme graphics. The one that is provided with a lot of themes is a Silver CoCo 1 which naturally doesn't match the badge.

CoCo 2 with Radio Shack badging to match the CoCo 2 badge I posted above...
