      Dear@mitu
I needed it cause of the clang compiler use.
Without it failed on first trial.
Also didn't compile without the clang compiler that's why Ive used/added it.

Just some extra info. I have the log(s) that failed if of interest.

      Have a nice weekend

I just tried with my fork on a Rpi5 to create a Rpi3 image.

The warnings in creating the chroot image (your step 5) can be ignored.
xpad and usbmount fail with an error but these can be re-installed on the real Pi3 if needed.

When the final image creation (your step 6) fails with something like

device-mapper: reload ioctl on loop0p2 (254:1) failed: Invalid argument create/reload failed on loop0p2

      just run it again.

Are you a master at this sort of thing?

Could you get Shovel Knight linux working on pie 4.7.1? with Wine?

I am just a techie. It is more the other way around: It feels I stand on shoulders of giants, when using the stack which is already there (RaspiOS, RetroPie, SDL, retroarch, ...). I like to make use of the ingenuity of open source and contribute my stuff, thus other can learn of / use it / extend it.

You may open a new thread for Shovel Knight and True Love, maybe someone of the community jumps on it. I never did get my hands on that games, tbh.

@blx77 I do not own a DVD version, however the extracted files and folders structure below edna_original/ from the GOG version is like this https://pastebin.com/E1pNWX8K. I assume you will find a similar (if not same) structure when you completely extract your setup.exe (omit the -I option from innoextract).

@Lolonois said in Adventuregamestudio (AGS) Scriptmodule Updates:

I ironed out the issues you mentioned, thanks again for the advise.

Look ok. One final niggle - module specific functions should be suffixed with the module name, to prevent name collisions. So create_launcher should be create_launcher_ags. We also prefer that local utility functions to be prefixed with _ (i.e. _create_launcher_ags).
I think it's enough to submit the changes as a PR.

@Lolonois It installed. Do i need specific Bios files in a certain directory on the pie as the game kicks right back out, super fast, to ES when i try to launch a game/disk with lr-apple2win.

@sleve_mcdichael said in Module depends on other module.:

And then if it's not installed, I'd do that with rp_installModule lr-prboom which is the same as rp_callModule lr-prboom auto right?

      Yes.

Would this all go in the depends_ function of the other module?

Yes, you can add it there.

And if I want to make sure it's the latest version anyway, could I just skip the check for rp_isInstalled and just do something like this?
      ...

You could, but that would attempt to install/check update for lr-prboom each time instead of just checking locally that lr-prboom is installed.

@lolonois I am really sorry. I finally got back to playing with the Pi today. I was all set to try out your hard work here. I thought I should begin with an updated ScummVM release, so I did that first. Lo and behold, TLJ works! I was able to boot and play the prologue scene.

I definitely appreciate your help, though!

I added Pocket Challenge V2 in Cygnus Blue Flammes theme.
      https://github.com/DTEAM-1/cygnus-blue-flames

      system.png

You can run it with MAME or WonderSwan emulators
      With MAME, it's pockchal

You can use Development of module-script generator for lr-mess, lr-mame and mame standalone to install this system, but you will need to manually add WonderSwan emulator connections.

Try to see if the program doesn't search the current folder for the file needed. This way, you can cd to the game's folder and run it from there.

@Protocultor said in New scriptmodule for Master System & Game Gear emulator:

Seeing that I've created a second scriptmodule for another Sega 8 bit core, this time I've opted to do a PR for both:
      https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/pull/3170
I hope this one has a future.

Just in case, Gearsystem, the new core, is not better than SMSPlus-GX, but has SG-1000 support.

SMSPlus-GX looks interesting. Thank you for submitting a PR and keep submitting them and don't be discouraged! 😊

      @ExarKunIv try to use dos2unix scriptfile.sh
I think you've wrong line endings.... Because for me the script runs flawless and if it spit out errors then there is likely something wrong with the interpretion of the script caused by wrong LE.

      Edit:
      Okay nevermind!
