      prikura.zip full non-merged, I found it working on Retroarch (mame 2010 core) on a PC, but it doesn't on the Raspberry Pi400, on Retropie 4.7.1:

      Screen stays black and it just shows a white square outline.

      The lr-mame2010 core is updated to today on both. The game is supposed to at least be playable on mame 2010.

      Is this a known issue of some games not being compatible on the pi4 but compatible on other platforms?

      What would you suggest I do to debug this?

      Many thanks
      I've also tried 2015, 2016 rom and corresponding cores with similar results.

          @barbudreadmon

          that's a good idea.

          I started setting advmame 3.9 up, have the right romset for it, but admittedly, I never got it to work.

          that rom specifically, it says no video mode set for such rom. I looked at the documentation but seems easier to program the Apollo navigation computer than setting this emulator up :).
          i'm using a samsung lcd tv set at 1280x720 via hdmi, if that helps.

          I generally had way more success with mame cores

            @luckyluca
            The exact advmame error is:
            No video modes available for the current game.
            Failed to initialize the video

            EDIT:
            Solved, I managed to set the .rc file in away that the Pi4/400 likes it.
            The game now starts fine.

            Thanks

              @luckyluca It loads in mame2003plus but there's no sprites and there's slowdowns even at 2Ghz/750Mhz. Mame2010 loads to a black square but it'll probably run slower.

              It's around fullspeed in lr-yabasanshiro overclocked. It has to be added manually. Search in the forum.
