So for Retropie, I want to install Dolphin on my Pi 400, but the flags for the package isn't installable on it, so I am wondering if I can change the flags for RetroPie so I can install it.

Pi Model or other hardware: Raspi 400
Power Supply used: Official Raspberry Pi 400 USB-C AC Cable
RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest): 4.7.2
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
USB Devices connected: Sony PS4 Wireless Controller
Controller used: Sony PS4 Wireless Controller
      Error messages received: alt text
      Verbose log (if relevant): N/A
      The guide used: N/A
      File: N/A
      Emulator: Dolphin
      Attachment of config files: N/A
How to replicate the problem: Install RetroPie for the Pi 4/400, try to install Dolphin in RetroPie Setup > Manage Packages > Manage experimental packages > Dolphin

Can you just change the flags from 32bit to 64bit, and have it work? I'm no expert, but I'ma guess probably not.

No, it's not that easy. Dolphin is supported on x86_64 (PC) only - that's why it's not installable on the your Pi installation.

@wolfyn-claw That won't work on a stadard RetroPie image or on Raspberry Pi OS, since it's a 32bit (armhf) version. Support for the beta 64 bit image of Raspberry Pi OS is still beta at the moment in RetroPie, so YMMV if you wish to install it (manually, since there's no image provided for it).
FWIW, there are a few topics here in the forums with Dolphin installations - you can take a look at how other users have installed it and what are their experience with it.
