Dragonrise LED Control question
-
Hi
I want to be able to control the button LEDs, just basic on/off. Has anyone done this on Dragonrise USB?
I am running two Dragonrise Controllers on RaspberryPi 3B running Retropie 4.7.1.

I understand that Raspbian is using a vanilla joystick USB driver to operate the physical stick and button presses but is there something out there which will allow me to control the LEDs?
I have looked around the forum but cannot find any mention of anyone trying to do this on this particular controller board. -
@hopwon any luck? I’ve just started researching this, this board is a standard 5v output and I have found a somewhat generic program that is said to work with most 5v led usb encoders, at https://github.com/shaneapowell/EventHorizonIlluminate/blob/master/README.md… I have cloned it to my PI and followed the steps as well as the additional steps for retropie v4.3 and higher to no avail. I am a noob however and was happy with just being able to clone it and be able to attempt to configure it on my pi. I’m sure it’s something I am missing but maybe you can figure it out

@jb1486 Nope! It would require some rewiring of the actual LED's and adding an LED controller to make this work. The DR controller does not have the required functionality unfortunately.
In the end I bought the ipac ultimate controller and a load of RGB buttons to upgrade my CP.
