I figured I could always get a refund if it was a scam, I was 60% sure it was nonsense. However those Chinese 1TB micro SDHC cards on eBay surprisingly work. They are only compatible with SD card adapters, not USB adapters, but they actually do hold 1TB of info. However to my disappointment, I tried installing RetroPie on it and ended up getting errors. I just wanted to through it out there, because it would be great if someone could find a work around in order to get these cards to work, I only paid around $50 shipped. Anyone else have experience with these cards? It says SDHC not SDXC.

The highest I see on this list is 512gb. and errors are reported on that and a 256gb card. Might want to go for a smaller sd card.

You are 100% right. It's not possible to own a 1 or 2 TB SD-card for a few bucks now (in 2016!).

Consider to use a seperate storage for your roms. A small SD card (4GB are more then enough!) only for the system is a great choice. Read the wiki to mount a USB device to store ROMS on it. You can even use a system link (like a desktop shortcut Windows uses) to point to your external device. Just use the internal search....
