      Hi.

I try to make my RetroPie boot to Kodi, i can change in RetroPie-Setup - configuration / tools -> autostart to boot to Kodi, and i can see that the autostart.sh get changed and adds

      kodi-standalone #auto

      at the top above

      emulationstation #auto

But every time i reboot it delete the kodi line.

I have no problem running kodi from ports.

Yes, i can open the file if i browse my network from my PC and it is saved.
Tried to change it manual trough my network and made it read-only, but still changed after reboot.

I have a non-standard autostart.sh and it doesn't get changed on boot. The only RetroPie service that starts on boot is the splashscreen (if enabled).
Are you sure your sdcard hasn't gone bad and turned read-only, discarding any writes ? If you create a new file in the same folder as autostart.sh, is it still there after a reboot ?

You seem to have found the problem, files and folders created is gone after reboot.

Take a backup of your sdcard (using Win32Imager) then test it using a software like H2testw. You may have to replace it if it has errors.

Did a backupp. Error using H2testw only showed 201mb space.
Cant format, it tells me the card is write-protected, please release the write protector switch, but cant find one on sd micro cards.

I think this is a common behavior, when it's no longer working properly the SD card is setting the read-only flag and doesn't allow any more writes to be saved. I think you need a new card.

I can delete files from my PC, but they re-appear when i mount it again. So broken SD card.

Thanks for the help. I would never thought of that.
