I have searched here for this and extensively on Google. I'll try and give as much info as I can. However I'm not super knowledgeable on the pi. Raspberry pi 4 2gb version, having an issue where I'm freezing on the Cid cutscene in the rocket. Was told maybe it's due to savestates, so I saved off memory card and still nothing. Freezes at the same spot. The emulator is lr pcsx rearmed not 100% sure which version. Was also advised to try duckstation however I don't see it in the experimental list. Of not I did try to update the pi but all that did was reorganize my games order they were in. Of note I bought this from a Facebook group retrogamefans who have since booted me because I said the controller it shipped with was super cheap(it really was). So I have no support from the builder even though "it's included in the price"

@crudsturbo 3rd party builds not supported here. We don’t know what the third party builder did so it’s difficult to diagnose. Start new and see if the issue persists. And If anything goes wrong, we know how retropie is supposed to work, and you’ll have an idea what you did. But my guess that it may be a bug with the emulator or bad rom.

If you can upload a save file to test it. Also use only the RetroPie version from this site.

My English isn't at a good level.

Go with duckstation because it pretty much solves every crashes and freezes I had encountered when I was using pcsx rearmed before. You also need to update your script up in the retropie setup for duckstation to show in the experimental section.

@genos98 so just go in the menu and update the script? I assume to make sure I'm connected to wifi?

@lostless understood, I'm on my own with this thing now unfortunately but it will be a learning experience.
