Updates

Hey all.
Is there a webpage or notification site that shows when the newest, stable release of RetroArch has been released or when it might be expected?
On my Pi 4, RetroArch is currently sitting at 1.9.7.
On my Android device though, it's version 1.9.8.
Because of this difference, I'm unable to Netplay between the two of them until RetroArch gets that small update on the Pi.
Cheers.

@addison
https://www.retroarch.com Maybe? I dunno. I just searched online and it popped up. My work is blocking it so I can't give you any more information at the moment. -
@addison retropie has to test each release of retroarch before changing the retropie-setup script to use them. new versions of retroarch are prone to breaking existing setups with changes, and almost certainly the patches that retropie applies to retroarch need updating. hence, it's not safe for retropie to just use whatever the latest version of retroarch is, as soon as it's released (though typically it's not too long before retropie is updated to use it).
you can follow the latest retropie-setup script changes via github.
