I am trying to configure my N64 controller and for some reason every time I set it up A and B buttons swap config.
I have made sure twice that I assigned them to "A button" and "B button".
I have noticed that the controller recognizes the correct button config when in the menus, but as soon as the game starts it is backwards.
      Anybody have any ideas here?

@jay420 are you using stand-alone mupen64plus or the libretro core lr-mupen64plus? The autoconfig only works for libretro cores; if you're using the stand-alone, you'll have to configure the controls separately: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Nintendo-64/#mupen64plus_1

Actually, the auto-config works for a few other emulators also, including Mupen64Plus (see here).

@Jay420 Please provide the info requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first, which should include the emulator you're using and what controller type do you have.
