      Hi,
First post and I hope not a stupid question.

I bought myself a pi400 in order to run amiberry. So far I have:

      • Flashed Retropi 4.7.1 to a sd card
      • Installed the optional Amiberry package
      • Copied v1.3 (a500), v3.0 (a1200) roms to /retropie/bios
      • Copied around 20 .lha files to /retropie/roms/amiga. All download from whdload website

Unfortunately Amiberry does not show any of the games as being available and I am not convinced its reading the roms. My understanding is that with the current version of Amiberry the above should be all that is required. I can open Amiberry itself.

It's not been a great experience so far. On installing Amiberry from the precompiled option it failed to install due to missing dependencies. The source code version installed ok. In Amiberry the mouse doesn't seem to work properly/fully.

Any clues on why what should be a simple process doesn't work? Of this is not helped by the fact I haven't used Linux in 15 years! I had thought the new version made things more straight forward.

      Thanks

      G

        An update......some success.

It seems I had two problems:

        • The precompiled binary does not work form me on the pi400
        • I was using rom files from amiga forever and didn't realise they were encrypted

I will update if I get any more issues

        G
