I have a Pi 3B+ and an arcade CRT tri sync monitor (15KHz, 24KHz, 31KHz) With the run command can I set the horizontal scan rate to auto switch on a game to game basis? It’s a matter of calculating the pixel clocks since there isn’t a place for horizontal scan rate in the modelines of cfg files? Any input is appreciated.

If you can use tvservice to create the modeline and set the new resolution, then you can add the call to the runcommand scripts to create/restore the modeline before/after a game is started.
