      Hello,
recently I switched to rpi4. I just installed fresh OS and jumped straight to installing Retropie. Obviously I've encountered problems with pairing my controllers. Btw. I was successfully using them with my previous rpi3, so they worked just fine but also there a pairing was not so straightforward. So I thought the same story here unless I checked system log. Both of controllers behave the same. I also tried another power supply. Nothing helps.

      Thank you for any suggestion...

for the record, mini-usb cable was defective.

Before I found the cable is a problem I was trying to solve that by copying the BT pairing data from /var/lib/bluetooth/* from my functional Retropie installation @ RPI3, but it seems those files are not enough.
