      Hello wandering if anyone can point me in the right direction as i have been stuck for a couple of days now, im using a Pie 4 8gb version and running in an arcade1up with a (vertical monitor).

      I have fixed the rotation of the / aspect ratio of the cmd and emulation station / most of the consoles by changing the below files -

      location - opt/retropie/configs/all/autostart.sh
      emulationstation --screenrotate 3 --screensize 960 1280

      location - nano /boot/cmdline.txt
      video=HDMI-A-1:1280x960M@60,rotate90

      //works fine
      /retropie/configs/gba/retroarch.cfg
      video_allow_rotate = "true"
      video_rotation = "1"

      //works fine
      /retropie/configs/gb/retroarch.cfg
      video_allow_rotate = "true"
      video_rotation = "1"

      //works fine
      /retropie/configs/nes/retroarch.cfg
      video_allow_rotate = "true"
      video_rotation = "1"

      for some reason the arcade Roms are displayed upside down and im not sure why, I have tried changing the video_rotation but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

      /retropie/configs/arcade/retroarch.cfg
      video_allow_rotate = "true"
      video_rotation = "1"

      Id appreciate any ideas on this one as I'm at a bit of a loss..... here is the tutorial I also followed to do the resto of the conversion.

      Tutorial -

          What arcade emulator are you using ? video_rotation = "1" should do a 90 only.

          Please add the rest of the info about your setup, as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

            Hi,
            I have the same problem with a "Raspberry Pi® PI400DE Raspberry Pi® 400 - Keyboard DE 4 GB 4 x 1.8 GHz" and a vertical monitor for pinball games
            After trying all hints and links the problem is still remaining.
            I tried different games and sources ([removed]).
            The menu rotates the 90 degrrees, but not the game.
            (I do not own a carbinet at the moment. I am just testing aut the monitor and retropie.
            If it works I will build up an arcade carbinet for pinball)

            Here are the data:
            Linux: 5.10.63-v71
            git show: 7. Dec 2021 20:05:57
            Merge pull request #3439

            nice greetings
            John
