We don't support 3rd party images, especially the ones loaded with ROMs. Use the image from retropie.org.uk/download if you wish to use this forum for help.

yes, i know that. im using this image because i had problems with the retropie.org image with retroarch, so i tried another one and this was the smallest i found from a guy, that do it with love, i guess.
the first thing i did was cleaning the rom folder, cause i got my own roms in my language.
long time i played those roms on a pc, but on a pi its more comfortable.

@grumpie Doesn't matter. We don't know how that image is configured, ROMs or not. If you switch to our image we can help you

it is very possible that i will do that, i dont like the overload image now.
but after four tries with pi imager or the image from this side at earliest next week.

so, im back on the nice n clean image of 4.7.1 but the promlem was still there.
i figured out that was an known issue (i guess) with not saving the system volume.
i fixed it by switching to 3,5mm jack and back to hdmi audio a few times (in all options i found), sometime the volume could be saved.

(i just wrote that to make this thread senseful for some people)

                    have a nice
