Creating ES gamelists with media for MAME/lr-mame/lr-mess

@testudo Btw, is that the demo or full version of Hamsters? I think the demo is 800 kb and the full version is 1600 kb.
-Doug
I have the demo working fine. Full version is not happy.
Great job on the emulator!!
-
Anyone create an ES gamelist with box covers or screenshots for the Acorn Archimedes that can be imported into one's archimedes directory?
-
@duglor have you tried the scraper I told you about?

Here's what I made for my library. You are welcome to use any you like.
Cleaned up Gamelist and added additional ROMs and Images.

@testudo Hey, Thanks for sharing!!!
I hope cds and hard drive directories can be used by the Archimedes Emu one day!! -

I did come across a full version. It is out there, but does not run on MAME. I tested it using Arculator and it runs great.

Added Zarch and Quazer to Gamelist and Images@testudo @Folly Thanks Testudo! Do you want that on my Goolge Drive for the project?

Perhaps you have already noticed.
I am testing and helping to improve this retroscraper script :
https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/32226/soft-new-scraper-in-the-worksIt has been improved very much the last week.
@kiro added also the possibility to scan unknown systems, so now our unknown categories can also be scanned.I will keep in your/our pre-made konamih, tigerh gamelists in the script, because they are really nice and complete.
There are a more things that need to be added to the retroscraper but I am very pleased with it.
If somehow a module-script can be made for installing the retroscraper I want to try and implement this solution into the add-systems-mamedev.sh.
Then a system can be scraped without making pre-made gamelists with media.I think this is the route we have to take for the future.
What do you think ? -
@Folly I'm actually working on creating a module to install retroscraper via retropie-setup :-)
Next, I was thinking maybe check the images you have in your setup and use them in the scraper, so at the end, these lists could be created automatically by retroscraper. Let's see how it works out.
-
Yes I noticed that you are busy with making a module-scrip.
Good thing, then I don't have to implement the install procedure in my script but just redirect to it and once installed people can select systems on which to scrape on.Sharing media, to improve the script, sounds very cool !

@Folly @testudo
archimedes gamelist is now on my Google Drive ready to download with your script. Does I have to add more systems. I am less frequently on the forum. That's ok for now.
But for archimedes I prefer the scraper in the future.
Have a look over here, created by the scraper :
Where can I scrape Archimedes game pix and info?BTW, I saw Arduboy Handheld here . @Folly Did you ever try It? Does it fit in "All in one" category or it should have his own?
I made the module-script and it's now also on RetroPie-Extra.
I tested some games but the resolution is quite low.
To make it look better I added an lcd shader but it has some ghost effect and on a pi it seems a bit slow.
Perhaps some other shader will prove to be better.
I think it should have it's own category.
There are, more than 200 games in the arduboy collection.
In there is also media and info files which can be used for making a gamelist.
I added a quick and dirty gamelist creation script for the arduboycollection here :
https://github.com/FollyMaddy/RetroPie-Share/tree/main/00-scripts-00How come you are less frequent on the forum ?
Busy with other stuff ? -

DTeam, what is your google drive with all that info? May I download the Archimedes stuff.
-
It's here :

It's the gamelist from @testudo .Or you can install every thing from add-systems-mamedev.

Busy with other stuff ?Yes, I'm pretty busy with other stuff. My contribution is pretty done now for Retropie and I'm waiting for the official Retropie with Bull's-eye on it. If new additions come with new MAME versions, I'll add them to my theme or/and to the Google Drive.
-
I get it.
Though if you want to do something.
For tigerh tmegamen3 is probably going to be released in 250.
Would you like to add it to the theme / gamelist / artwork ?I added it to the tigerh.ini when the new mame comes out so it can be added.
You can find the basic artwork here :https://forums.bannister.org/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=97003&page=403
