Amiga CD32 Games with Improved Audio
-
With Amiberry 4 likely to arrive soon it seems a good time to revaluate my Amiga game collection, specifically my CD32 games.
Does anyone know which CD32 (or CDTV) games have improved Audio over their AGA versions or are generally improved on the CD format.
So far I know of the following (I'll add to this):
Exile - Improved graphics. No CD audio
Fears - No CD audio
Microcosm - CD32 exclusive
Pinball Illusions - Improved controls for joypad. Has CD music but same as AGA AFAIK
Pinball Fantasies - Improved controls for joypad. Has CD music but same as AGA AFAIK
Seek and Destroy - Improved controls for joypad. Has CD music but same as AGA AFAIK
Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe - "improved" audio and graphics
Xenon II: Megablast (CDTV) - Improved audio -
@george-spiggott did Aladdin have a cd32 version? I seem to remember a version of the game that had full voiceovers from the original soundtrack during the opening sequence.

@quicksilver According to MobyGames search (screenshot) and List of Amiga CD32 games - Wikipedia no Aladdin game has been released as an Amiga CD32 version. Is it possible that you had played an unofficial fan hack/mod?

@thelostsoul No it wasn't a hack or anything. After some research I think it was just the regular Amiga version and you just have to wait long enough at the main menu and then the vocals in the song eventually start. The Sega Genesis version audio is definitely not as good (though is more nostalgic for me since it's the version I grew up with).
