Is it possible to link pixel desktop apps/games to the retropie menu?

Yes, you can create your own launchers if you wish and maybe a new system that would be used to launch the apps.
If you know the command that starts the app from the CLI, then just add it in a shell script.shfile and create a system that would launch.shfiles directly.
