      Hi Guys,

I'm having an issue with saving screen settings in Retroarch. The default setting for "Video Scaling" is "core provided". But if I want the setting to be different for a specific game ("custom"), it won't be saved.
      Anyone have an idea?
      (I use a Raspberry 4.)

quick menu > override > save core override (ie, for everything running on this emulator), or game override (ie, this game only), depending on which you want.

however generally speaking saving config overrides is not desirable as it leaves you maintaining your own config file, rather than letting retropie control it, so there's probably a better way of achieving what you want if you could give more details?

          I did the same.
However, if I save the "custom" option for video scaling under "save core overrides", then it works. If I now change the video scaling option in another game to "core provided" and then save it under "save game overrides", then the next time I start this game I also have the "core provided" setting. Strange...
(sorry, my english is not so good, i let google translate...)

that's right. the game override takes priority over the core override (otherwise game overrides would never be activated once you have a core override)
