      Hello,
I'm sure this topic must have been discussed hundred of times, but cannot find a solution.
I'm using Retropie on an ubuntu distro (I'm on an Intel NUC, not a RPI). I have a bartop with 2 sets of arcade joystick/buttons.

I have bought a pair of usb arcade controller. They are working normally, except, as expected, both interfaces shares exactly the same PID/VID.

So sometime, controller 1 became controller 2 and vice-versa.
In emulationstation, it's not a big deal, because ES can be controlled by Controller1 or Controller2.

But when I'm launching a single player game, sometime I have to play with my left joystick, sometime with my right joystick...

Is anybody has an advice on this ?

Although strange, I have only declared one controller in ES.
By this way, I have no more strange behaviour on some buttons. So it's better now.
Still have the controller 1 or 2 swapping in some emulators...
Try to manage with joystick-selection, but not sure it could handle this 100%, as name and reference are always the same.
